 Hi, here is a copy of the critique Gavon Robertson (UK) sent to the Basset Hound Club of NSW after he judged there on Sunday 4^th April 2010.

 If he had shown like he had in veteran sweeps and open dog he would have been my best male, as it was he came good again for RUBIS and I had the pleasure of putting him up.  He is a 10 year old who I felt was outstanding and just wished I had seen him in his prime.  I actually find this dog very hard to fault.  His head piece was excellent and not overdone at all with a lean skull and beautifully long leathers.  A lovely dark eye and nice expression.  He has lost a bit of muscle due to age but the front assembly is excellent and he uses it so well.  He has a long neck and a table top back which he never looses on the move.  Good length and enough skin and furnishings.  An absolute pleasure to watch him move even at his age.  A dog I won’t ever forget.”
